After careful consideration, I have decided to close Working Table.
Since starting the business in 2019, my work situation has changed frequently, from trying to make Working Table a full time job, to doing it on the side of part time jobs, or even full time ones. I now have a stable full time job that has allowed me to have free time to myself, and the financial cost and time necessary to run Working Table is simply no longer worth the investment. While I have found a great sense of pride and fulfillment in processing and scanning film, and then in printing, I put my own creative work on hold in order to do it. In the free time I now have, I am going to concentrate again on my own practice.
I want to send my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all of the people who placed their confidence in me to produce their work. It was a task I did not take lightly, and it brought me great satisfaction and a sense of purpose in a larger community. Working with so many talented, driven, and interesting people was truly a joy for me. I hope to see all of you around soon.
